Cheemeni 30 MW solar plant
Cheemeni Estate, cashew edge and laterite

A 30 MW ground-mount plant on 70 hectares of laterite at PCK's Cheemeni Estate. Sustainize is the local consultancy on the DPR: KSEB and ANERT, 110 kV evacuation, and the site.
Plantation Corporation of Kerala leased about 70 hectares of non-arable laterite at Cheemeni, Hosdurg taluk, for a 25-year ground-mounted plant. The site sits at 12°14'00.4"N, 75°13'57.2"E, within three kilometres of a KSEB substation.
The report was prepared with technical support from Climatenza Solar and Sustainize Technologies. Naturedew Energy is the developer. In the consortium Sustainize is the local expertise and regulatory lead: statutory approvals from KSEB and ANERT, end-to-end notes for the 110 kV evacuation, and the topography, monsoon, and logistics the site actually has.
First-year generation is estimated at 46.66 million units. Project cost in the DPR is about ₹198.42 crore. Modules are N-Type TOPCon; string inverters; fixed-tilt on laterite with ramming and micro-piles.
