Agrivoltaics, crop and array on one land
Raised modules, shade-tolerant crops, and a land-use argument a collector can read. Cashew and laterite are not a European vegetable bed. The crop has to be the one that is actually there.

Agrivoltaics puts an array high enough that a crop or grazing can continue underneath. The shade cuts some yield for sun-hungry plants and can help others in heat. The electrical gain is the same hectare producing kWh as well as a harvest.
Cheemeni is leased non-arable laterite at a cashew edge. That is not agrivoltaics; it is a ground mount on land the plantation already judged poor for trees. A true dual-use brief would start from the crop, the tractor paths, and the monsoon, then place the tables.
Where it can work in Kerala: spices and some vegetables under a raised carport-like structure; sheep under a plant; not a claim that every 30 MW park is a farm.

Development and ecology have been set against each other for a long time. Small is not always better, and holding other people back is not sustainability. Growth for everyone, planned so it does not wreck the place, is the job.

Cheap is not the same as cost-effective. The saving is in the method: the wall, the slab and the skill on site, written in the BOQ, not hoped for after the tender.

Older stations still earn if the civil, mechanical, and electrical sides are named. New runners, environmental flows, and protection that keep a plant on the grid.
